Clear communication is an essential component of surgical care, yet patients often receive large amounts of complex information within limited clinical encounters. Our research explores how artificial intelligence–driven video platforms can enhance patient education, improve engagement, and support decision-making before and after surgery.

This work focuses on developing and evaluating digital education tools that deliver consistent, accessible, and evidence-informed surgical information. By integrating AI-generated video content into clinical care pathways, we aim to improve patient understanding, preparedness, and overall experience throughout the surgical journey.

Our research examines how these technologies influence patient-reported outcomes, healthcare utilization, and workflow efficiency in real-world practice, with the broader goal of supporting more informed, patient-centered, and scalable surgical care.
